Birthing the placenta
So I'm having my first baby and I'm going through a midwife, planning a water birth. They do delayed cord clamping, she said she waits up to 30 minutes. Might be a dumb question but do I deliver the placenta before we cut the cord?
I honestly want to wait as long as possible to cut the cord. I thought about doing a lotus birth but it doesn't seem practical for me since we have to commute from birth center to home and it's my first.
