Please tell why ?

So it’s 7 Pm on a long weekend here . I’m a stay at home mom . Today i cleaned my house baked did laundry , my bf went to his brothers said okay I’ll be home by dinner , leaving me with everything so I sent my 4 year old with him to give me a break, I decided to go hangout with friends and family , I get a text .....(sons name) wants to know when your coming home . I never go out on my own. I feel bad for going out but I need my time to once in a while .. am I doing wrong ?

You are allowed to have time to yourself, without your child. We all need time to recharge ourselves. Just let him know when you will be home, but don’t feel the need to rush home. You are home all week with him I’m assuming if you stay home, don’t feel guilty about having a little time to spend with family and friends.

I don’t see a problem at all here? Are you complaining about cleaning? Are you complaining about him going to his brothers? Are you complaining about him texting asking when you would be back? I mean a simple “in just a little bit” would of been fine and left it like that.

No ur not wrong.. if u don’t put ur well being first.. how u supposed to look after ur child.. this can be ur opening to talk to ur bf about u wanting to take more time to urself.. and please don’t be hard on urself.. u’ve nothing to feel guilty about.

It's not that your doing anything wrong but your 4 year old didn't know you were going to be out and they obviously want you. I'm sure they have a bedtime routine your a part of and it's probably upsetting them your not there.  My son would be very distressed if I wasn't home and hadn't prepared him for it. If you want to go out at least explain to the kiddo beforehand.

Anyways I could be wrong but I think your husband just said that to get you to come back home sooner. He really had no reason to text you that lol. Enjoy your night out and come home when you’re done (within reasonable hours of course) your son will be alright
