Take him to the doctor ??

Question

My son came home from daycare with this Thursday on his fingers. At first I just thought it was glue. He didn’t have school on Friday so I never got to ask and they’re off again on Monday 
What does this look like to you ?? My mom said it looks like a fall from outside - but Thursday it snowed here and I know they weren’t outside. 
It’s on BOTH his hands and just on the fingertips. 
I think it looks like burn marks. My husband says dry skin - but only on his fingertips? And appearing suddenly after school ? 
I don’t want to rush to the doctor for every little thing ... help me out please !

My daughter had something similar after playing with certain types of crayons. Its a very mild chemical burn from holding the crayons!! Maybe ask if the teachers noticed him playing with anything new??

Since they didn’t go outside does the school have an indoor gym he could have fallen? It does look like dry skin or scraped skin. I would try putting some lotion on it and see how it looks after a few hours. But I would definitely ask the school on Tuesday.
