38 weeks and getting sick..

I’ll be calling my ob first thing in the morning but since I have to wait to see what he says I figured I’d post here. I’m 38+1 today and earlier this evening my throat started to hurt. So I checked my tonsils with a flash light. My throat is red and inflamed and my tonsils are swollen. Has anyone been sick this late in pregnancy? Do you think my ob will want me to go to my family doctor or can I fight this at home like I usually would? What happens if I have her while I’m still sick? I’m pretty stressed out. This is the last thing I wanted to happen and I’m mostly worried about what will happen if I’m sick with a virus when she’s born. I don’t want to be the reason my newborn gets sick right off the bat. Just looking for reassurance and other’s experiences
