Gender stereotypes and children

This is a post by a YouTuber I like watching. Her 5 year old son likes dressing up, gymnastics, and other things that a lot of people would consider “girly.” I agree with her post 100% but was wondering if others agree that there is often a double standard when it comes to raising boys vs girls. As she mentions if a little girl dressed up as a superhero no one thinks anything of it however when a boy dresses up as a female celebrity theirs an out roar of “is he gay” and other rude comments. What problems do parents of little girls have to deal with when it comes to gender stereotypes?
