Stop milk production?

Do any of you ladies have advice on stopping my milk production? My husband is currently deployed and I’m currently pumping and formula feeding. I’m alone and far from family and my hands are just extremely full and I don’t want to pump anymore.

Try not to drink anything but peppermint tea, it reduces milk production. Also try cabbage in your bra. Hand massage out when you’re in pain.

Just stop. When your sore, pump for relief. Took me about a week to dry up

Taper off pumping but don’t quit cold turkey. Pump at least every 4-6 hours for a couple of days and then slowly remove one pumping at a time until your milk is gone. I got double mastitis from missing just two pumping sessions because I slept through them and it was miserable. If you’re all alone you don’t want to risk mastitis because it’s worse than any flu I’ve ever had. I had a C-section and I would rather recover from that a million times than have mastitis ever again.

I got sick earlier this week, and couldn’t feed my baby. That one day I was in a lot of pain. I hand expressed when I felt extremely full. I’m going back to work soon so I figured I’d just stop cold turkey. The next day was about the same (hand express just to alleviate the pain when really full). Today, I haven’t felt much pain and the fullness has gone down. I also didn’t produce much milk to begin with, so my baby had already been drinking formula since day 1, and has taken very well to it. 
Make sure you wear a tight bra vs. a looser nursing bra. When hand expressing loosen up the stiff parts to avoid mastitis. Hand express only enough to alleviate pain from fullness. Take Motrin/Tylenol/Advil to help with pain. 
I heard the cabbage leaves in your bra cups also helps to dry out your milk. Currently, have some leaves in my fridge that I will be trying out tonight 🤞🏽
So far the first two days were the worst. Day 3 has been pretty decent. Just make sure you’re careful when picking up your baby because you will feel a lot of pain when you press your little one against your breasts.
