My boyfriend and I are just about to celebrate our 3 year anniversary, he's been working the same job with the same hours for as long as I've known him. I haven't worked in the past 5 years because I can't. We just had a baby 4 weeks ago, before the baby I could find things to do to keep me busy or sleep or whatever I wanted to kill time until he gets home around 3-4 am. Now I just have baby and dogs to occupy me, so going anywhere in the late evening when I'm most depressed is not a possibility. I need him to be home with me at night, for my mental health but he's having trouble finding a day time job and my mom can't be here every night. I have postpartum depression, too. I'm sure there's nothing we can do about it until he finds a different job, since he's our only income, it's just very difficult for me.
