Dollar store pregnancy tests?

So I need some advice! My period is 4 days late. I bought a few pregnancy tests from the dollar store and took one yesterday but it came up negative. So I have a few questions. Have any of you used dollar store tests before? If you got a positive, how long did you have to wait before getting one? Also, how long should I wait before testing again? I don't want to waste time or tests, but I'm also anxious to know if I'm pregnant or not.

I always used thw dollar store ones and mine popped up almost immediately with all three of my pregnancy

I've never used dollar store tests but my positive didn't come until almost 2 weeks after my period was due. A lot of people don't get positives until after. It just depends on when you implanted, how high your hcg levels are, the sensitivity of the test and the concentration of your urine. For example, if you implanted 12 days after conception, it would be right around the time your period is due and the hcg would double every 24-36 hours or so. When I was getting negatives, I tried to test every 3 days or so and told myself if I went over 2 weeks and was still getting negatives I would see the doc. One day, I tested in the morning and saw nothing, then tested the next day in the afternoon with my last test and got a super dark positive

Take one again with your first morning urine tomorrow. If it's still negative and period doesn't show- take another first thing in the morning 3 more days later.

I use dollar store tests, they are pretty accurate. I got my BFP at 10dpo.

In all honesty I've used all the brand's and they're the same. You might get a dud every now and then but it's not often

I use those they are accurate mostly after your missed period I found out I was pregnant using that test

I've just used the dollar store ones and the line was so faint it was basically grey the next day still greyish but with a hint of pink and could see the pink straight away so got a clear blue digital and it came out pregnant 1-2 weeks. The dollar store ones could of even looked negative if I wasn't glaring at them from start to finish so although yes they did work I probably could of got a clear positive quicker and more obvious with an expensive brand.
