How Would You React?

Question

I've just discovered man I've recently been seeing lied to me about his age. 
I havent said anything yet but this bothers me, not because of how old he actually is but because it is such a pointless thing to lie about. It makes me nervous for other things (bigger things) he could be fibbing about too. Am I letting my worries get the better of me? 
How would you react?

No that’s the exact reaction I have when someone lies to me! Definitely have a talk with him and see why he felt the need to not be honest with you in the first place. Nobody wants or needs to build the foundation of their relationship on lies whether small or big

I’d be afraid what else he is lying about. Don’t care about the difference in age but with how easy it was for him to lie to you. Personally, I would move on.

People who lie about stupid things will lie about anything. You should ask him why he lied and make a big deal out of it so he knows you aren’t the one lol!! I’d stop seeing him completely

I felt the exact same way when I found out that he had lied to me about his age. I almost broke it off at that point. He didn't want to tell me he was 10 years older because he thought I would stop talking to him. When he told me the truth, I almost did just because I didn't trust anything else he told me about himself. Gradually he gained my trust back, and honestly it was the only thing he was untruthful about. So I would say give your man a chance, but keep your eyes open for any other things that don't add up.
