Potential Macrosomic Baby Delivery decision?!

Help! I need some advice! I and currently at 39 weeks 4 days. At my 32 week ultrasound appointment they anticipated that the babies head was measuring at 36 weeks and the diaphragm was measuring at 35 weeks. I have not dropped yet and really haven’t had any “labor” symptoms at all (contractions, loss of mucous plug, bloody show). Since that 32 week appointment (based on fundal height only), my baby boy has leveled off a little bit and was measuring a little more near average. At my appointment 2 days ago, the doctor noted that my fundal height was at 41 weeks. I am 80% effaced and 1cm dilated. She recommended I be induced if baby doesn’t come on his own by 40 weeks 3 days. She is making it my decision to decide if I want to be induced before 40 weeks. Are there any pros/cons to getting induced earlier? Am I better off allowing my body to possibly naturally let him come on his own or should I be more concerned about his weight and schedule an earlier induction for his and my health?
