Travelling for vacation in 5th month??

Do you think travelling during second trimester is safe and how feasible is it to enjoy a laid back vacation with husband? We want to do a last trip as a couple without kids !

It safe to travel while you're not in the 3rd trimester. I think they won't let you travel passed 34 or 36 weeks.

My doctor told me it’s safe to travel until 38 weeks, but I’d be scared to travel that close to my due date. I have a friend who flew to Mexico for two weddings at 35 weeks and 37 weeks.

do it! but wear compression socks and bring any meds you might need! my hubs and I took a few vacas b4 baby boy arrived and it was the best thing we could've done for our loving relationship!

Depends on how your pregnancy is going. Everyone is different. Typically travel is safe through 34 weeks but in my case I am high risk for preterm labor and miscarriage up to 24 weeks, my doctor doesn’t want me to travel more than 4 hours away at any point during this pregnancy and I’m 16 weeks now.

I’m flying to Scotland from Texas during week 17. We already had the trip booked for my spring break week (I teach) and now it’ll be our babymoon.

Just make sure you have something from your doctor with your due date on it. Most airlines require it in the 2nd & 3rd trimester.

It's usually safe enough. Get a clear from your doctor to be sure 😊
I will say, I know someone who got a clear from their doctor and gave birth in another country around the 26th week.
So that can happen as well.
