I bought sims 4 for my little sister, I gave it a shot one day and I absolutely hated it. So I do not recommend that one at all

Sims 4 is better to me. Solely for the damn loading times open world causes on 3. I like some aspects of 3 but 4 is really good. They're also rereleasing strangetown this month and I'm so excited 😭😍

Sims 3 is much better imo, you can create and edit your world. World is open so no loading screens when going anywhere, more user friendly imo. I played sims 4 for like 30 minutes and went back to sims 3
