My friend asked for a lift into work this morning so I took them in happily, I offered a lift back and the conversation went like this

‘ what time do you finish’

‘4:30, are you gunna be about to drop me home’

‘Yeah course just give me a message when you want me to leave’

‘Sweet, thanks’

I’ve delayed starting dinner to give to my 3 year old because I assume we’ll be back by about 5:20, so dinner will only be a little later and I can give him an extra snack.

Anyway time ticks away and I just assume works ran late, 5:10 comes and I message saying ‘do you want me to leave yet?’ And they reply ‘oh I’m having a drink with X from work so I’ll just get a cab come’

No sorry, no nothing! At this point I’m livid that they didn’t tell me sooner, or that they didn’t take into account that I’d be waiting around for them to finish so I could then do other stuff.

I feel like it’s a small thing, but I hate it when people are inconsiderate. How angry would something like this make you??
