Rant?? Racial Preferences Advice please!!

Does anybody else feel uncomfortable when a guy your dating tells u they have a racial preferences but then your not from that ethnic group, and they try to carrg a conversation about that ethnic group which I like (which they themselves are not a part of) and then ur just there like .... Like have no clue what to say tbh lol

When my husband and I first starting talking he told me he like brunettes, and I'm as blonde as they come. I know it's not the same, but just because you're not his usual type doesn't mean anything. He's so far from my usual, but evidently my usual wasn't working cause I found him and he's perfect.
