When do you take a baby out

How many weeks do you wait before taken the baby out and about ?

I asked my pediatrician and he said there’s no hard or true number of weeks, just be sensible and don’t let anyone sneeze on the baby. We have a car seat canopy and we generally leave it over him when we’re our places.

We went out on day 2.... and been on a few walks since....

We went out to the store yesterday at 10 days. We just kept the cover over the car seat if it was too cold or windy, and covered it too many people were around. Just put the car seat right in a carriage.  Didn’t stay out long just enough to get a few things and try to get used to bringing him places. He slept most of the time anyway, likes the motion
