Will he ever commit? How long to wait? should I tell him how long I'll wait?

We have a 5 year old. We've lived together almost a year. We finally started dating two months ago. Its been awesome! Every week we get closer. Every date gets better. I just really want another child. The rush is  because I want my son to have a sibling. I'm just worried it will be 10 years before he's ready for that. I don't want to wait that long. I feel like I can't afford too. I feel like I've given him a lot of my life.

UPDATE:  I guess a lot of people are confused... yes its his kid. Up until 2 months ago he believed I didn't want to date him (because he's sensitive in some ways and a moron in others😳). we provide (and have provided) equally for our son. To rephrase, I'm frustrated by the pace. Things are great, but he talks about dating for a year, engagement for at least a year, god knows when we'd have a kid after that. Aside from the fact that we all ready have a kid, he's very traditional and slow to make decisions. I want our son to have a sibling as close in age as possible. I feel like we all ready know each other, so the dating stage doesn't need to be that long. Also I'm not traditional I would love to have all my children at my wedding. I love him, but I'm worried about giving him any more of my life.

You should not be rushing anything. These are conversations that you would need to have with him but him not wanting another child doesn’t mean he’s not committed to you
