Deployments

Okay so something that genuinely bothers me is that making it through a deployment with your significant other is like a big damn deal. Like my boyfriend and I are dual military. So maybe I see things differently? Idk. He was recently deployed and like all his command kept telling him was if I make it through this deployment without cheating or without just breaking up with him because of distance that I’m a keeper. And that just makes me so upset like the bar set so low that if you don’t cheat while they’re on deployment you’re awesome. I don’t see why you should cheat anyways? But you shouldn’t cheat anyways wether he is on deployment or if he is home. Like I don’t get that. And too be honest in my younger day like high school days I cheated, been cheated on, and been the one cheated with. I understand all view points but I grew up and now I just think that shouldn’t be the bar for military relationships. Rant over.
