Is it normal?

So I started birth control(the pill) a few months ago and my sex drive used to be high up but ever since I've started the pill it's almost like I never want to. Is this normal? For the sake of my boyfriend I push through, but sometimes now it even hurts to have sex(Due to dryness). I don't know if it because of my birth control or if it could be something else?

completely normal, i went through states of having zero sex drive to incredibly high. it fluctuates for most people, usually its just your body dealing with the change in hormones. if it’s been going on too long and its bothering you, maybe ask your doctor for another type of pill x

I was like this when I started my birth control. It was like this for a little while. And then I had a high sex drive for a few years. Then the last few months I was on it, I didnt want to have sex at all. And now that I'm off of it, I have a very high sex drive but also cannot get into the mood very easy either 🤷‍♀️😅

I had this happen to  me too while I was on BC. These are all unfortunate side effects of birth control.
