If my infant’s hair curls when she sweats at night, does that mean her hair will be curly?

My daughter is 7 month old and has pin straight hair all the time but it curls when she is sleeping and sweats.  Her dad’s family has curly hair.  Does this mean she will have curly hair maybe?

It might be a humidity thing. My sister has straight hair, but it's from the weight of it. When it's humid out, or she's been sweating, her "baby hairs" (the super fine, super short hair around her face and the nape of her neck) get super curly. She had it super short for years without any curls, and then decided to grow it out for charity, and when she cut it off immediately started curling. She was in middle school and getting teased for it, so she straightened for years until the weight of it kept the curls straight. Now in college, she doesn't care and doesn't need to straighten it everyday because it stays straight.

Not really. Most people's hair curls when you sweat or when it's humid. Something to do with the salt content in sweat that causes the hair to curl

I thought my daughter had straight hair when she was born but when give a bath you could tell her hair curled . When she got enough hair , she’s got full blown curls now at 17 months.
