Constipation at 8 weeks? Pictures included!
So I will do my best to explain this and make it make sense. My wonderful daughter is 2 months and since about a week old she struggled pooping, not in the sense that it was constipation but just that it hurt her to push it out even though at that point it was basically water! Fast forward to now and ive noticed that she still is struggling to poop but now its painful and she just cries and pushes so hard her face gets red & i swear she's holding her breath to get the best push. Lately she's been going days without pooping, at least a week before I decide to give her juice to help (okay'd by dr). & when it comes out I noticed that it had the consistency of play dough (yes i picked it up with a baby wipe 🤷🏽♀️) my question is should i be worried something could be going on in her little baby belly? Would this still be considered constipation although it isn't like solid balls? Anything i can do to help? She does have a drs appointment on Thursday as just like her normal 2 month appointment so I will bring it up then but if there's anything i can do to help the discomfort I would appreciate it
