IUI questions.

So I finish my dose of clomid tomorrow. My doctor wants me to go for a ultrasound on Monday the 4th and if she sees good follicles she wants to do the IUI that day or the day after. Isn’t that too soon? I feel like we should wait just a little longer.. the app is telling me i won’t ovulate for like another week n a half. This would be my first IUI so I have no clue how it all works. Any information would be great! Do any of you think that’s too soon? Thank you ☺️
