When did you tell your parents?

We found out we're pregnant yesterday! We're both pretty close to our family members and wouldn't feel too uncomfortable telling them about a miscarriage if it were to happen (heaven forbid). It would actually be nice to have them as support. DH wants to tell immediate family about our pregnancy  tonight, they all know we've been trying for almost a year. Just curious when y'all told your parents/siblings!

Parents, siblings, and a couple friends - anyone we'd need support from if something happened - we told right away. Everyone else got to wait 😂

I told my mom immediately after I found out! 
I'm 23 my mom and I are super close it was a rainy day I went in planned parenthood to get a test done because I thought I had BV but I didn't I was pregnant! So first thing I did was drive to my mom's told her "your going to be a grandma" and we cried together 😂

First pregnancy told my parents and siblings straight away then lost the baby at 12 weeks and it killed us all. Second pregnancy waited until 20 weeks because I didn't want to see them go through that again

15 weeks we told everyone. It was Christmas so it felt like the right time.

We told them at 8w 5d.  We wanted to wait until the second trimester but I was diagnosed with HG and on the brink of being admitted to the hospital.  I could not in good conscience be in the hospital and not tell my Mom.  As such, we pushed up our disclose date to our Moms.

We told our parents at almost 6 weeks.. like you said, god forbid something happened, I know I would need my Mom and dad to be there for support. Tell them whenever you feel comfortable

We told family two days after we found out! We felt like they shared our TTC journey with us as we did fertility treatments and would want their support if something happened. We told just parents, grandparents and siblings. Once we got past 8 weeks we told some more family and at 14 weeks we told everyone else and on social media.
