Earwax?

Selinaa

My daughters gonna be 6 months soon and I always notice an amount of earwax in her outer ear, I just wipe it making sure to not go in her ear. But now I'm thinking am I suppose to do this. I don't want it to build up alot cause I have seen some kids with some nasty looking ears (not judging I know some won't let you clean them and to each their own) so what do you do wipe them when you notice alot of wax or just leave it and let them get cleaned in the bath or by themselves?

I know I will get stoned for this but I do clean inside a bit. Otherwise it looks dirty as my children produce a lot of wax .

It’ll eventually fall out on its own. You can clean around the outer part with a cloth. Do not stick anything in her ears. Q-tips are not supposed to go inside the ear even the ones they make for babies aren’t safe. My doctor has always told me to never stick anything in your ears except your own elbow.

My 2.5 year old is having to be put under to have wax removed from her ears cause it’s to the point she can’t hear at all, check with you doctor to knywhat to do cause I just left her ears alone and apparently I was supposed to be cleaning them

My son had SO MUCH EARWAX! It balls up and falls out of the ear canal and right on the outer ear where I can easy wipe it or just grab it with my fingers. It's always right at the edge ready to fall out lol. He gets some built up on the outside that I just wipe gently with a face cloth but I never use a qtip.

I wipe around his outer ear. I never go inside. I wait until it's fallen towards the outside then I'll clean it.

My daughter is 18 months and has always had very waxy ears also. Sometimes a clump is there and ill like pick it out but other than that I don’t mess with her ears. I’ve brought it up to her doctor but she doesn’t ever seem concerned
