Someone owes you money and doesn't pay it back when they said they would. What do you do?

Never ever loan out money that you aren’t comfortable losing. If they don’t pay it back the first time, it’s a lesson learned for me.

I wouldnt wait , but let them pay me when they pay me & know to never lend them money . if it was a big amount , than it tells me that I shouldnt do it in the first place if I know they never have that kind of money .

I had an ex friend who owed me money for watching her 1 year old- so I did a job for her and she would skip out on paying me but go out to eat with other friends- I finally gave up asking her. If they don’t pay you pack take it as a lesson learned not to do it again! The ex friend finally paid me back and I’m expects me to watch her kid again- but I’ve leaned it’s not worth it!

Do you and them have Venmo? If yes, request payment. I hate owing people $$ and people owing me $$ so this has helped with stress on both sides so much!

If you're the girl who loaned gas money to your boyfriend- just remind him, I doubt hes purposely not paying you back. Most people don't worry about $20 or whatever, so he likely just forgot about it

I never loan money. I give it with the idea that it’s never going to be repaid. If it does, great. Loaning money causes stress in relationships. I would remind them about it and then either give them money or say no next time. It’s a bonus if they pay you back (which they should).

Depends on how close you are with the person you lent money to... if it was my sis or cousin I wouldn’t be too worried. But if it was a friend I didn’t talk to too often I’d be on their ass to pay me back.
