Husband wants anal

I’ve never had anal before and I’m up for trying it, but I’m really scared that it’ll hurt or that I’ll poop on him or something along those lines. Mostly I’m afraid of the pain. I love my husband, but he isn’t the most attentive lover. Foreplay to him is kissing for a few minutes, maybe playing with each other, then sticking it in(sometime I’m not even wet or turned on yet) so i feel like he won’t prepare me enough to actually be able to do anal without it hurting a lot. So what do I do to make it pleasurable and how do I do it?
