Side sleeping 6 month old??? Help!!!

I put my almost 6 month old daughter to bed on her back, and almost instantly she goes to the side position. It looks so uncomfortable and makes me extremely nervous. If I put her back on her back, she wakes, crys, and goes back to this. I'm a ftm, is this normal?????

Completely normal, my daughter has been sleeping in her side since 5 months old.
If they can confidently roll from back to front, or front to back, then there’s no need to worry. If they got “stuck” then they’d cry for you to help move them 😊

She should be fine. If baby is always on lying or sitting with too much pressure on the back of her head, she might end up getting a flat head.

She's 6 months... lol it's more than okay for her to sleep on her side. Our daughter was doing it from birth and then she switched to belly sleeping at 3 months. She's still alive and well at almost 2 years old.

If she is uncomfortable she will move herself. 👍 my baby moved on her side since she was born! Around 5 months she decided she was a tummy sleeper.
