Bleeding and a Positive Test

As of Friday my period was two days late, but the pregnancy test was negative. Saturday morning I woke up bleeding and assumed AF had shown up. I went through 2 regular size tampons yesterday and bleeding got much lighter in the evening. Today I am having a small amount of spotting but nothing else. I decided to take a pregnancy test and bam, it’s positive. I’m so confused. Since I was bleeding yesterday could this mean it’s an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy? I was not expecting a positive pregnancy test today and it makes me so sad to think it may be a miscarriage. Has anyone else had an experience like this?
