Bruised after IV

Anyone knows why I would be bruised for about 7-8 days after the hospital. When I got the IV it was so sensitive and tender any movement I was in pain. When it came time to remove it he had to remove it fast because I could’ve literally cried from the pain and when he got it out it was a bad sensation and I got home later and had a bruise.

SN: it was worse then this the picture is 8days into it.
