Spotting

Okay I'm 23 and startes my period at the age of 13 and I've never in my life experienced any type of spotting whatsoever, of course my periods weren't always regular and as I get older they're pretty easy to keep up with since I have pms signs always a week prior! I've been spotting for five days now and made an appointment with my doctor but honestly I feel like she thinks I'm crazy for even thinking this is concerning! Anyone else just spot for five days ? My period is in about two weeks maybe according to my tracker but I'm having no pms signs . This is so bizarre to me !
