Mirena removal question

How soon after having Mirena removed did you guys have your first period? Did they take a while to regulate? Did ovulation occur during the first cycle after having mirena removed? I got rid of Mirena in January and within 2 days I had started a period. I originally thought the bleeding was just as a result of having the Mirena removed and not necessarily a period but lo and behold, I ovulated on CD16. My cycles have been like clockwork so far. My OBGYN seemed extremely surprised at how quickly things regulated and so I wanted to ask what everyone else’s stories were.
