Hawaii with 3 month old?

I’m a second time mom, and our almost three year old has been on many, many trips, including to Hawaii (and I did that flight by myself!) SW just opened up bookings to Maui, and hubby and I were looking at taking both kids in August. I almost clicked purchase, then hubby started having second thoughts, mostly worried about the new baby with such a long travel day. I told him the baby would be easy, and that the three year old will be the one going nuts strapped in a seat. What do you think? Anyone taking summer vacation with the new addition?

We've booked a trip from BC Canada to The Netherlands at the end of the summer. Like you said, the baby will be the easy part. Haha! We did get cancel insurance just in case. When my first was 3.5 months we did Hawaii and she was easy peasy. I had some anxiety as she was my first but everything was great!

I’d do it, but people will probably say I’m crazy. We plan on going on a vacation with our 2 year old and our 3 month old in July/August as well.

We've had to change our honeymoon plans for August because we're worried about taking baby on a flight so soon, we've decided to go somewhere that we can drive to instead to make it a bit easier

Just booked a beach trip in South Carolina, one in DC and another to Disney 11 hour drive). Bringing a 6 year old, 3 year old and the baby that will be between 3 months to 6 months depending the trip. It is easier now than when the baby is 1

Were going to Texas with a 1 month old flying and our 2 year old. I'm actually not so worried like I thought. We took our 20 month old last month and he did so amazing so with the baby and breastfeeding I'm not too worried.

Going to Disney world with a 2 month old 4year old and 2year old yea I'm sure the baby will be better than the toddlers

We are going to Ireland in August with a 3year old and 3 month old two ... I say just go for it !!!  I traveled with my son ALOT too ... took him to Vegas at 3 months and it was the EASIEST time traveling with him... I told my hubby this summer is our chance to do a big trip while baby is so small ... traveling at 1.5 was the most challenging because he wanted to move and run plus didn’t have the attention span to focus on any activity /video in his seat ... the following summer will be a driving trip lol ... book your trip and enjoy :)
