Do you think it's safe to get a tooth extracted at 35 weeks?

My tooth has been killing me. It hurts all the way into my temple. But I'm not sure if its the safest time to get it pulled? I'm almost 35weeks. I'm not sure if I should wait or not? If i wait.. What are some good ways to make the pain stop till after pregnancy?

I was told you can only get a tooth pulled when you are in your second trimester. I recently got a tooth removed it was my wisdom tooth and they just numbed me and then gave me antibiotics to take for a week.

It’s not safe to keep a bad tooth. Weighing the risks vs benefits, pull it. I work in oral surgery and if it’s painful we pull. Consult with your Obgyn. They’ll tell you if it’s a no.

You should definitely talk to your OB about it. Your dentist will need a note from them to do anything anyways...my dentist refused to even do an X-ray to check on a painful cavity

You can, they just wont put you under. They will probably just give you some serious pain killers

I did and it was sooo painful I had to have basic pain relief after and it was hell but totally necessary because I was already in heaps of pain

I was told that type of stuff should only be done in the second trimester.. Talk to your doctor to be sure.. I got mine pulled about a month ago.. Good luck.. I know the feeling

You can buy you can’t get Novocain or be put under.
