Should I date this guy?

He has a swastika tattoo that he says was from a time in his (teenage) past that he was insecure and did and said things he really regrets. He said he’s been hoping to have it removed but hasn’t had enough money. I’ve been talking to him and going on dates w/ him for awhile now and had never saw it until a couple days ago. He told me he keeps it covered up nowadays because he’s ashamed of it. He seems like a really nice guy but idk if I should go ahead and date him now or no? Btw he’s now in his mid twenties.
