6 hours of nonstop throwing up
Yesterday I felt perfectly fine until 4pm hit. I started feeling somewhat nauseous but chalked it up to being hungry. I went and bought a burger and it was repulsive when I went to eat it. Cut to 2 hours later when I am in the bath feeling like absolute garbage I start throwing up everything in my stomach. I thought it was the end up continued to throw up every 20 mins or so even after emptying my stomach. This was around 5 hours in and I call my after hours advice nurse and she tells me to try to take in water in any way so I tried sipping water and popsicles. I threw that up too. I ended up going into the ER because I couldn’t keep anything down to save the life of me. I am also 23 weeks pregnant and started cramping. Everyone including the nurses and doctor made it seem like I was fine and exaggerating. I threw up in the lobby and up towards triage. Is this just something that happens? I ended up getting an IV and anti nausea medication and everything stopped. I’m still confused as to what happened. Any advice would be awesome.
