I’m so upset and embarrassed

So I had sex on Saturday night. It was great we used a condom. But after I started to notice a smell. I thought it was just from sex. But apparently I had contacted trichomoniasis. And symptoms don’t typically show in men so usually they don’t know they have it. Well some women show symptoms and some don’t. I did and went to planned parenthood to get checked. And yep. I have an STI. I’ve told him and we’re meeting later so I can give him the medicine and explain how to take it. I’m so embarrassed and I want to cry. We usually hookup as FWB. And I asked had he slept with anyone and he said yes right after he got home. So did I already have it? Or did he get it from her and then I got it from him? I didn’t have symptoms until after I had sex with him. Ugh.
