YouTube Start Up Career

Thinking of starting a YouTube channel . Like a Mommy and Me or SAHM perspective! I always get friends that tell me to go for it . I love watching YouTube videos more then regular tv really and I think I have the personality for it . My concern or fear really is that I start doing something really like it then YouTube dies . Social media platforms don’t last forever and some point they die out ( MySpace , AIM ) I would just hate to put so much effort in something to then fail or have it cut short . What do you guys think ? I have a 13 month old son my only child and I’m 23 going on 24 , any cute clever channel suggestions? Or is this a bad idea ?
