Friend with oral herpes

I’m meeting a friend this weekend for the first time since having my baby. She’s 5 months now. My friend has oral herpes.. and I’m suuuper worried about her being around or in contact with my baby. From my understanding it’s really only concerning if she has an active cold sore correct?

She has always been super careful and even in my carefree college days she always would make certain to not let me share drinks/lipgloss/ etc. when she had an outbreak. I just can’t help to worry still with my baby. I know she would never purposely expose my daughter to anything. And I’ll make sure she doesn’t kiss her... Just a nervous ftm.
