Fast labor and delivery!
My due date was March 9th.. on February 28th I got checked and was 1 to 2 cm dilated so I thought maybe by the weekend he will come.. Saturday came around and I had zero symptoms that labor was coming so I started walking around my house to maybe start something but I felt fine I had little contractions here and there but nothing to warn me for what was about to happen.. at around 7pm that day I felt a contraction that was different than the others BH but it wasn’t painful so I started walking around my house and started timing them they started coming 8 min apart but again nothing painful where I thought it was actual labor and I never had a bloody show NOTHING! So I thought they must be false labor well 30 min later they got a little stronger and 5 min apart but again nothing I couldn’t handle, my husband is urging me to start going to the hospital but I told him they’re not bad contractions and I don’t want to get sent home or they make me walk for hours at the hospital so I told him let me keep walking here and see if they go away for at least an hour well an hour exactly they hit me 3 min apart and more intense but I was still in denial and told my husband I was going to take a shower and get ready.. by that point it’s 8:45pm and I’m hunching over every 3 min and told him we need to go! So the whole way there I was praying that I was at least 4cm so they admit me because I was in so much pain.. we get there at about 9:30 pm and they take us to our room so they can check me and to my shock the nurse says YEP your an 8 cm dilated... I was in SHOCK! And I told her I was feeling pressure so she checks me 10 min later and she says okay your Fully Dilated and a bunch of nurses rush in and start prepping the room in a big rush. The Doctor wasn’t even there so we had to wait 15min before I could start. I pushed 5 times and he came right out! Total of 3 hours of labor and delivery. No time for epidural so I felt everything and it felt like a different type of feeling being able to experience it because with my first I was in labor for over 12 hours and had the epidural. I use to love reading these stories so I wanted to share for the ladies that were like me patiently waiting to meet they’re babies :)
