Family..?

So my family and I bought a house last year and had a baby three months ago. My boyfriend hasn’t been much help, he says he doesn’t know what to do or be in the way but yet he’s always on his phone. Do I literally have to tell him what he needs to do? Just feels like I’m a mom of 4 not 3 (we have 3 beautiful girls by the way)

Yes, give him instructions. The more he does the more comfortable he will be. I'm guilty of doing everything and then being annoyed when I don't get help. Maybe talk to him and see if that would work for him too. My husband is much better now that our baby is one. It's hard when they are tiny. Maybe he can help more with the older kids?

Yes oh my goodness. My husband is the same way and we’ve talked about it and he literally told me he really needs guidance on what to do. So ever since he’s told me that, it’s given us a lot more patience towards each other because I understand he needs a little direction and I’m not just expecting him to know what to do now!
