He doesn’t want kids, I do.

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for 5 years and he has always said he isn’t ready for kids or can’t see himself having kids. I thought this was just a little phase and he would change his mind. I always have wanted kids. I love kids, I work in a daycare. I can’t see myself not having kids. My boyfriend is aware of this as I am aware that he doesn’t want any. My friend recently told me that my boyfriend came to her about my ring size and talked about marriage. I’m not sure if I can marry someone who doesn’t want children. But I can’t see myself not being with him. What should I do?
