Do the scans show heart beat?

I had an emergency scan at 7 weeks and 3 days after being dangerously sick and dehydrated. We saw the heart beat and the print out shows the heart beat was 'visualised' but I was never told the heart rate and it does not appear to be printed on any of the info I was given. Is this normal? Does anyone know if it has been printed and I just can't read it? Or is it something I should have asked the nurse? If it would be printed on the photo let me know and I will upload it. Thanks for any help guys!
