LEFT TAMPON IN TOO LONG

so this morning i went to pee and felt pretty dry down there and a tampon slipped out. I had put that tampon in Wednesday night and forgot about it i guess bc I’ve been on antibiotics and pain killers due to teeth extractions that i just went to sleep and didn’t notice. I don’t know how i didn’t notice it yesterday (Thursday) I felt fine and was just busy with my kids all day and i just thought it was weird i wasn’t bleeding much. Anyway I’m so scared of getting TSS, I’m freaking out and crying please don’t judge me. The tampon was in for about 36 hours and I’m so scared bc i don’t have health insurance, so far i don’t have any symptoms just feel a bit dry down there or irritated but is it possible to still get TSS? I’m so scared :( I don’t even have a car to go anywhere. Can i still get an infection even if it’s not TSS? This has never happened to me before I’m so worried. Sorry this post is so long 😓

BTW I’m no longer bleeding, im assuming it ended yesterday
