Prevent suicide number for family member?

I found the phone number for suicide prevention but i haven’t called yet I just want to ask if anyone knows if they would try help me with having someone visit a family member of mine I’d like to do it anonymously 
What’s a wellness check exactly? And is it possible to call their hs to get someone to there to help too?

Call the police department (non emergency)
A wellness check is them essentially asking a series of questions and checking on them to make sure they are stable and okay to be alone.

Just call the non emergency police line and ask for a wellness check

If you do call in a wellness check and don’t want them knowing it was you make sure you tell them you want to remain anonymous. Because 911 calls are public info
