How do you calculate your baby’s age?

Are our kids a month on the day they were born every month or 4 weeks after the day they were born? Because 4 weeks (28 days) from when she was born would be April 2 but would it really be the 5th of every month since she was born on the 5th of March?
This is how the app has calculated her age. A month 4 weeks after she was born which is 3 days prior to the actual date a month later.

Same day each month. If you did 4 weeks x 12 you would have a different birthday every year

The date. There is almost always more than 4 weeks in a month, so that wouldnt be accurate at all. By "12 months" they would be less than a year old.

When going by months, I’ll wait until the day of the next month if that makes sense. So my son was 1 month on December 15th. He was born in November 15th

On the day they were born each month that's when I count them as a month, 2 month, 3 month, 4 month, 5 month and so on.. for me I stop at a year then it's a year old, year and a half on the 6 month on the date they were born, 2 years up to 5 and after 5 years its 6,7,8 on the day they were born each year and so on for the rest of their lives

Same day each month otherwise their birthday would fall much earlier than it should. And it gets really hard to keep track of how many weeks old they are past a certain point (for me I couldn’t keep track of weeks past 16 weeks).

A month is not 4 weeks. If that were the case, then we would have 13 months being that there are 52 weeks in a year. If you go by weeks, then you would be celebrating her birthday on March 31 of next year.
