Anybody else's cartilage piercing get irritated randomly?

I've had a cartilage piercing on my upper ear for about 2 years and every now and then it'll just get irritated for a few days. Maybe it's how I sleep, or if I mess with it and I don't realize it. I'm curious if anybody else has finicky cartilage piercings.

I have my industrial done and I've had it for over 2 years but if I sleep on it a lot or anything it gets irritated.

I’ve had mine going on 7 years and it still randomly hurts sometimes. It’s usually because I slept on it wrong but sometimes it gets pulled while doing my hair and that will make it sore too.
