Anyone eat like crap and pass their gestational diabetes test?
So I have my gestational diabetes test coming up and I have to admit, I am scared. Prior to pregnancy, I was extremely healthy. I exercised daily and ate very clean. However, that all went out the window when I go pregnant and morning sickness kicked in. The thought of salads and veggies which I once loved, suddenly made me want to throw up. I spent weeks in bed and the only thing that sounded appealing to me was crappy junk food. I kind of went into survival mode and just ate whatever I could keep down. I did not exercise at all either. Second trimester came around and I started feeling a lot better so I started eating healthier again. Of course I still had slip ups and gave into cravings, but I have been eating quite well for the most part! About 4 weeks ago I started exercising again too and have been feeling pretty good. I am 27 weeks and I’m doing my gestational diabetes test on Thursday and I’m terrified of failing! Has anyone ate crappy/ not exercised much and passed?
