Do you have to leave the placenta inside of you while you wait for delayed cord clamping???
May be a silly question 😂 but I’ve been learning about it and I would like to do it when I give birth, but I was just watching a nurse explain it in an educational video & she said your heart beating is what then causes the placenta to pulsate and in turn pump the baby’s blood to them through the cord to the placenta, so does that mean you have to leave it inside of you while you’re waiting to cut the cord? Or do you deliver it and just wait ????? A bit confused lol
