My worst fear became reality !!! š«
Hi mamas,
Iām 9 weeks pp and have yet to heal completely from my 3rd C-section... about 2 weeks ago I went for my f/u and doctor said everything looked good and she cleared me told me I was able to resume regular activities but of course taking it slow...
I noticed that about 3 days ago I had a small amount of blood coming from a small part of my incision. Then more of a watery discharge was coming out... Iāve been cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide and drying it up well (since I have an apron belly) I went today and she said I had a small pocket I assumed she popped it she said no puss came out so that was a good sign, also said overall incision didnāt look or seemed infected, however, Im so devastated because my worst fear became reality when she said she would have to pack it with gauze to ākeep it from healing over pocketā so she opened it a bit more to pack it and it hurt like hell š© she also said it wasnāt very deep... any way now Iām so sad and scared because this is happening to me not to mention the pain along with it š„ŗ
I donāt know what to do to care for my incision now since itās packed and would really appreciate any advice from any of you mamas who have experienced the same... how was your outcome? What should I expect? What should I avoid? Should I be scared? HEEELPPP PLEASE!! š
TIA
PS
My doctor really didnāt seam concerned at all just said if pain worsens which honestly it only hurt when she opened the wound a bit more I have no pain at all after that just some discomfort once in a while from what I think is her opening my incision a bit more to pack it, she also didnāt tell me to repack at home she actually just told me to keep an eye on it and if packing falls out that itās okay just to come back in 3 days to re check it....
