How long did your induction last??

I’m being induced Saturday at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia and my sons not low whatsoever and I’m not dilated or effaced so I’m expecting an extremely long labor. How long did your inductions last?

My induction lasted almost 24 hours. I went in on a monday at 8am and had her the next day at 625 am. It didnt go the way i planned at all but she came out finally. Just be prepared for anything and go with it. The drs know best.

My water broke before contractions started. I actually had the induction process started twice. 36 hours total!

I was induced the evening of my 38 week appt bc of high bp. Started with cervidil, then folley balloon then pitocin. I had my son by csection at 1 am Thursday morning. He just wouldn’t engage

My first took about 25 hours. I was only 36 weeks, 1cm dilated. It took a while for active labor to start. Second took an hour and a half at 37+1. I came in at about 5 1/2cm dilated. That was pretty wild.

My first one was 36 hours and 1 1/2 hours of pushing and was only dilated 1cm when starting at 37 weeks. 
Second took 12 hours and 20 mins of pushing. They didn’t check me before hand, but I’d been having contractions for a week before induction at 37 weeks. 
Hoping for a natural birth with my current pregnancy, induction is not fun.

12 hours. I started the process at 4pm on a Monday night and at 4:26am had my son. Labor was awful but it was short and honestly you don’t remember any of it the next day when you look at the little face any how. Good luck momma sending good vibes

It was forever long! I now tell everyone not to be induced! I checked in on Monday and didn’t have her until Wednesday everything about it was terrible.
