From what I remember prior to taking bc I had pretty regular cycles. When I stopped bc my period didn't show up for about a month and a half. My doctor ran tests and everything was normal. Since then I've figured out my cycles average about 35 days now - a week longer than they were when I was on bc. It took my body some time. My doctor suggested ovulation testing every month and if I had any issues with that to go see them.

I said it came at normal time but it was like 4 days later than it would've been on bc. But I have a 30 day cycle naturally so it pretty much came on its own natural time.

I stopped taking birth control in October and had my last period/withdrawal bleed oct 22nd. I've had nothing since! Took two HPTs and both negative. I had one ovarian cyst before I went on the pill over 10 years ago. I don't even remember if my cycles were regular or not. Made a doctor's appt in two weeks and hoping to get some answers...more afraid though that I will be told to just wait! Will hope to be TTC #1 if I can find out if I'm even ovulating although I felt ovulation pain twice in November but no period. Is it possible to ovulate and have no period? I've heard mixed things.
